Beyond the Bases 2007 Rules
General:
- Registration fee is $150.00 per team
- NO travel player will be allowed. Team rosters MUST consist entirely of in-house ball players that were
rostered on and played in at least 75% of in house teams games
- Teams may consist of "All Star" teams typical of the in house programs' tradition of forming these teams
based on individual performances. "All Star" teams are NOT required for entry.
- Any portion/s of any in house team or teams can be compiled, so long as the submitted rosters do NOT
include players on ANY travel roster, whether in your rec council or not.
- All teams must consist of players active on an in house baseball team from the representative rec council.
Each team must provide it's own insurances. "Beyond the Bases" assumes no liability for providing insurance.
9/10 Age group:
- 6 inning games
- 2 hour time limit
- 3 inn/game 5inn/day pitch limit
- 2 1/4" bat size
- 46/60 w/ stealing after ball crosses the plate
- no dropped 3rd strike
- 10 run slaughter rule after 4
11/12 Age group:
- 6 inning games
- 2 hour time limit
- 3 inn/game 6inn/day pitch limit
- 50/70 w/ stealing
- dropped 3rd strike
- 10 run slaughter rule after 4
13/14 Age group:
- 6 inning games
- 2 hour time limit
- 4 inn/game 8 inn/day pitch limit
- 54/75 w/stealing
- dropped 3rd strike
- 10 run slaughter rule after 4
Time limits will be waived in semi finals and finals
